Use a Geyser blanket to make your Geyser more energy-efficient and save on eletricity bill.
• Regularly clean your Geyser by removing build up scale.
• Inspect the condition of the anode. If it is worn down you will need to replace it.
• Frequently check your water heater for leaks. It is important to check the pipe connections, the valves and underneath the Geyser.
• Test the thermostate and pressure relief valve once a year to make sure it is working.
• Protect the ceiling under the Geyser from water damage by installing a drip tray under the Geyser to catch water leaks. Keep in mind, the drip tray must have a drain 50mm pvc drain pipe lead to the outside of the buiding.
